During this class you will learn the skills necessary to sew knits like a pro! Using our Elna 560 sewing machines, you’ll gain new skills that are transferable to many other knit projects and are highly coveted in the sewing world. How to work with the grain of a knit fabric and choosing the appropriate machine needle and foot for sewing knits on a standard sewing machine will all be highlighted during this class.
Students will also sew a knit neckband and knit sleeves.

Time: 6 Hours, 2 sessions
Skill Level: Advanced
Prerequisites: Sewing 101, plus at least two or three level 200 or 300, or equivalent experience
Skills Learned:
- finding the correct pattern size based on measurements
- how to work with the grain in knit fabric
- how to choose the proper equipment to sew with knits
